I am stretched on your grave and will lie there forever...
“Music off,” John barked at the computer.
Perverse bastard, he thought. What the hell ever prompted him to decide that was our song? He called out to the silence, “How am I supposed to lie on your grave, forever, if you won't fucking stay dead?”
He didn't let himself realize that, if he had managed to kill Jack, while a part of him might have grieved for the rest of his life, he would have quickly moved onto the next con.
