It was an interesting episode to work with. I swear the 'we were lovers in the past' context that I brought out was there already.

Later in that scene, the focus is on Giles and we hear Ethan say "Do you know you're really very attractive?" Giles, very drunk, looks over to see Ethan giving his phone number to the waitress but then Giles looks embarrassed, as if he'd thought Ethan was speaking to him. Unfortunately, didn't really fit well into what I was doing with the story.
