Since I write BtVS, I'm at Buffy World all the time, basically checking transcripts, and also Buffyverse Wikia to get info on characters and relationships. For example, when I was writing a story that included Giles' aunts, it was helpful for figuring out what the heck their names are. ;-)

My local library as well as inter-library loans are quite helpful.
