Summary/Prompt: Written for the 2013 Halloween Challenge over at SB Fag Ends. Lacrimosa's The Way of the Shadow: bloodroot; I used the Bloodroot Restaurant in Bridgeport, CN
Note: Having never been, I may have gotten details wrong. Actually I almost certainly have gotten details wrong.
Note: Not posting to LJ because here I have to fix each paragraph to prevent them from all running into each other, which makes the story hard to read. I don't mind doing that for a shorter story, but I'm not doing it for one with as many paragraphs as this one has.
