Firefly has an episode where they send out an electronic distraction, called a Crybaby, out to draw off an Alliance ship. Dialogue: Mal: Cry, Baby, cry. Wash: (O.C.) Make your mother sigh.

I was listening to the Beatles White Album on the way home from New Year's and heard "Cry, baby, cry. Make your mother sigh." I never even knew that was a quote, much less where it came from.

Many thanks to my aunt Alice for the album. I asked her for a Beatles album for Christmas because she's a big fan. She couldn't pick just one. She couldn't pick just two. She got me five Beatles albums. ;-)
