Day 8

In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you how amazing and awesome and loveable you really are. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so. Surf the comments and find people to give love to.

*makes eyes all big and anime looking* Actually not as tough as I'd originally thought because I read it as "tell others how wonderful you yourself are". Ack! Hope others will say nice things is a piece of cake in comparison.

Well, unless nobody says anything. ;-(    "Hello? Anybody out there?"

Hi,

I don't know you (yet?) so I can't really describe in detail how wonderful you are (though you totally are, I'm sure of it!).

And I already know a few things about you. For example that you love Emily Dickinson and that you have the most wicked santa skeleton icon. Extremely rad, that.

Also, I really, really believe that anyone who does this Snowflake Challenge is kind of awesome. It's such a positive activity, sharing creativity and reaching out. So yeah, you're awesome. (Also, you like Buffy and poetry! I think poetry is one of the best things about a person, really. So.)

Anyway, I figured that I'd use this love meme to spread positive vibes by sharing encouraging quotes because I believe that all of us have the potential to be amazing and awesome beyond our wildest dreams and worst fears. This is the quote I picked for you:

We never know how high we are
Till we are called to rise;
And then, if we are true to plan,
Our statures touch the skies—

The Heroism we recite
Would be a daily thing,
Did not ourselves the Cubits warp
For fear to be a King—

(Emily Dickinson, of course!)

♥ Live out loud!

*squee* You are so awesome. Thanks so much for the poem!

The rad Santa icon is from Hogfather. I get the DVD out of the library each year. It's set in the Disc World universe if you're familiar with that.
