The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.
About a year ago I had in mind to do some macros or artwork or somesuch (before I knew how to do blends or anything) relating this poem and this stanza specifically to the Buffyverse, because the words seem to fit very nicely - Buffy, Faith, Spike, Willow especially (at least in my head) . I may still do at some point, thanks to your reminder here.
For some reason I thought "the Road Less Traveled" was by another poet but they're both by Frost; there is a fascinating interplay of optimism and resignation in both the poems that wasn't immediately apparent to me.
