more on the heater

Okay, so the guy made the call. And damn he was young! 28 but he looks younger. The control panel is sending a signal to the inducer intermittently. So they are supposed to contact me tomorrow with parts availability and price although he is suggesting the heater be replaced. It's 21 years old which I suppose is a good lifespan for a heater.

Since tomorrow's a holiday, most likely no parts then. The timing of this thing sucks.

I had a problem with the thermostat but it just needed new batteries. I'm so glad I figured that out before calling in - and paying - the experts! Before that, I hadn't even realized they took batteries. ;-)
