change of perspective

As recently as a week ago, I saw myself as being at the bottom of a large hole that I needed to clambor out of. A few days ago, I thought on my situation again and now I feel that I'm at a fork in the road, which is nice because there's no disadvantage to where I'm at. It's more along the lines of, "I'm taking this other road now."

I've been sick as a dog. Not sure if it's allergies or a bug. Happily I'm no longer a snot monster, and the congestion backed off enough by Saturday that my sense of smell came back. The fatigue seems to be clearing away, but there's still some congestion in my chest.

Also, I have a Mac now, with a tiny, tiny screen and it makes LJ sort of a pain to read. I'll be getting a bigger screen to connect up to this laptop but that'll wait until after I'm feeling better.
