I added the commentary after a few comments. I realized the mirrors weren't noticeable if you didn't know they were there.
I actually did not take the shot. I met a woman in the park and we were walking together. When she stopped to take reflections in the mirrors, I stood to one side and she just happened to get a shot with me in it. It was nice of her to share the pic with me.
I don't know what magic hour is. Time was between 4:30 and 5:00. I know that because the place closed at 4:30 - they have light display in the evening and want people out earlyish - and I was thinking we'd overstayed our time.
