I've been unemployed for a while and can't afford to keep the house. As you can imagine, my "fix it" budget isn't huge. I just spent an hour and fifty minutes talking to a guy about refacing my kitchen cabinets. What a long and drawn out sales pitch!

It was his sales pitch, and no. The amount he would be charging was more than a third of my budget. He was even telling me replacing cabinets was more important than replacing a furnace, water heater, and AC that were beyond their life expediencies! Ugh. I'm still work out.
