I'm late to the party, but what other people said! Also I know that if you take apart IKEA furniture and then put it back together it can be a little...wonky? after that. So if the person you're buying it from has done that, it could be a reason for the wonkiness. *glares at Billy bookshelf that did not like being diassembled* I don't know if there's a polite way to ask (or even get an honest answer) but.
