Snowflake Challenge Day 3

Day 3: In your own space, share a favorite piece of original canon (a TV episode, a song, a favorite interview, a book, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

"The Zeppo" is my absolute fave Buffy episode. I adore it as a whole but my favorite bit is the scene where Xander interrupts Buffy and Angel. Before he gets there the drama, the acting, the romance, they're all over the top and when Xander interrupts, it all stops. Buffy and Angel just drop all that to stare at Xander. And then, as he leaves, we hear the music picking up again. That is just so funny to me. I adore it.

That was a wonderfully different POV episode, where the world is apparently ending again, but Xander has nothing to do with that storyline, gets his own instead.

LOL that was wonderful to revisit, thank you! I always did enjoy the times that Xander got to shine.

I love BtVS and how it was always so willing to undercut and make fun of itself. Thank you for reminding me about this episode and the scene with Buffy and Angel in particular. It was so great. And now I want to rewatch the entire series. :)
