British food

I'm working on a fic where Snape survives the battle for Hogwarts. In my story, he was welcomed into the Evans household as a child and strongly influenced by Lily's mother. I want him to cook a typical British meal you'd make for kids, like the equivalent of cheeseburger and friends here in the US.

What should I have him make?

Thanks!

If you're still taking suggestions, fish fingers (fish sticks in the US) is even more stereotypical as something that somebody with no kitchen skills at all would make for kids.
