In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

1. Job hunting. I used to be a computer programmer and now I'm working in a mail room. I need to fix that by getting my resume out and practicing interviewing.
2. Getting my CS skills back up to speed. Computer programming has changed quite a bit since I was developing. I want to review SQL and learn C#. I'll see what else could be useful from there.
3. I haven't been writing much - at all really - recently. So finish up my fanfic and start writing original fic.

Oh mail room jobs. Definitely not the most glamorous thing (though knowing how to ship things is pretty handy knowledge), but it can pay the bills! Best of luck with the job hunting :D

I wish it were better at paying the bills. I recently got a raise as I was made a permanent employee but all that new income, and more, is going toward health insurance.
