Thanks. Yes #3 definitely helps with #4. Actually I was in some sort of depressed spiral and practiced tonglen for 10 minutes. That really made a difference! I've been feeling much better since.
Yay for GYWO! I'm good with word count goals for first drafts (like NANO) but not so much when I'm editing. I rewrite a lot!
