I'm unemployed and having trouble finding a job. I'm about to sell my house for little more than I owe on it. Then I'll be scrambling to not be homeless.
And all that, yes, freaky, but mentally I'm in a much better place than I've been in decades. I just have to work out how to get my financial and physical situation to mesh back up with the mental.
