Summary: Buffy and Willow are just in time to save Xander.

Xander stood naked and manacled to a stone wall in the dank, cool basement. Candles that stretched out from either side of him, sitting just at the edge where floor met wall, provided the only light in the room. Spike drew a crop across Xander's chest, not hurting him yet, just letting him know what was in store. “Perhaps next time you'll . . .”
Spike smirked at Xander's muffled scream. “Don't even know why I bothered with the gag. Not like anyone can hear you. Place has been abandoned for years.”
“Let. Him. Go.” Twisting around, Spike saw Buffy framed in the arched doorway, a stake in her hand.
With a smirk, he threw down the crop and shifted into a fighting stance. “Bring it on, Slayer.”
As Buffy tore at him, Spike saw Willow racing for Xander. He growled and darted around to stop her, but then Buffy was before him. Taking a swing at Spike, she shouted to Willow, “Get him out of here.”
“I can't,” Willow shouted, shaking the chains. “It needs a key.”
“Oh, I'll get you the key,” Buffy said.
Xander shook his head and glared down at his mouth. “Oh,” Willow said. She removed the gag.
“Buffy,” Xander shouted. “Don't stake my boyfriend.”
As Buffy's head swerved towards Xander, Spike grabbed her and twisted around until she was squirming before him. Jutting out his chest, he said, “Now, now, let's hear what the boy has to say.”
“Spike, let her go.”
“But,” Spike complained.
“She won't believe me if you're holding both of us captive,” Xander added.
“Fine,” Spike said as he shoved Buffy towards Xander and Willow.
“Oh, and, uh, Mr. Garibaldi,” Xander said.
Glaring at the girls, Spike stalked over and unchained Xander.
“Mr. Garibaldi? From B5?” Willow asked.
“It's our safeword, iniit.”
Buffy's gaze bounced between Spike, who smirked back, and Xander, who was blushing furiously but had wrapped an arm around Spike's waist.
“Ewww, I did not need that image,” Buffy shrieked.
“What? What image?” Willow asked.
“I'll explain on the way out,” Buffy said, leading Willow towards the door.
“But, Spike, and Xander. Badness that we have to stop,” Willow was saying as they vanished into the hallway.
“Wanna get back to it?” Spike leered.
“I dunno, kinda broke the mood.”
“Bleach,” they heard Willow shout. “Lots and lots of brain bleach. Are you sure, I mean, with Spike?”
“Yeah,” Buffy added, “but don't worry. We can get all the details tomorrow.” Raising her voice, she added, “When we'll be having a long, long chat about appropriate boyfriends and hiding said boyfriends from your best friends.”
“Yep,” Xander confirmed. “And the mood is definitely dead.”
Spike licked his lips, ran a slow hand down his torso, twitched his hips forward, and asked, “Sure you don't wanna work up some details to scare the birds off with?”
