Adrift in a Sea of Discarded Desires 5/5

Title: Adrift in a Sea of Discarded Desires 5/5
Series: Double!Verse
Fandom: BtVS
Characters/Pairing: Buffy, Spike/Dru
Rating: R overall but more like G in this chapter
Concrit: Please, in comments
Disclaimer: They aren't mine, not yet, but the will be once I've taken over the world. Bwah-ha-ha.
Warnings/Squicks: None in this section
Summary: Sequel to Conjuring Love from the Ashes of an Old Flame – as the love spell wears off, Willow and Spike remain together, but an unexpected arrival might change things forver.

As Buffy raced off into the night, with the sound of sirens in the distance but getting louder, two figures, identical brunettes, stepped out of the bushes. “One of your Willows still lives,” Drusilla said.

“The stars did say that the Slayer might not kill her,” Dru replied.

“She's going to be a problem. If she'd doubled here, their powers will be...”

Dru picked up where Drusilla had trailed off. “Poof – the moon sings all the seas dry. Poof – the world crumbles to ashes in a heartbeat. Poof – the stars all twinkle out.”

Drusilla shook her head. “She may not get close enough. Neither she nor your sundered Spike recognize the danger.”

“Pet,” Spike said, stepping out of the bushes, “and um, pet,” he added, glancing between the two. “Why'd that bloke look just like me?”

I am assuming there's a sequel, right? Because you cannot leave your readers hanging this way!

Yeah, I'm seeing this as a series of related stories. I've only got an inkling of what'll be going on in the next one though.

And how do you always respond so quickly? It's cool but I'm wondering how you're so consistently the first to respond.

The absence of a life aids me greatly in responding with alacrity.

*laughs*

A slow internet connection, and I mean slow like molasses is slow, keeps me from responding quickly.

Amazing icon. Should I recognize the almost a mime guy?

Thanks. [livejournal.com profile] shanmara made it. It's Angel in Crow makeup.

I could not tell that was Angel!

And I know this dates me, but I remember when The Crow first came out as a comic! And I probably have it downstairs come to think of it.

There are more twists to come.

All these doubles... it is going to be so hard to keep track!!! Wouldn't it have been nice if I'd thought of that before I started writing. *grins*

Awesome icon.

Oh my!

This demands a sequel. :P

Oh, there totally will be a sequel, once I figure out what's going to happen besides Spike and/or Willow heading to Sunnydale to look for this universe's Willow.
