A friend

One of my local channels has been playing Superman: The Movie on and off for a couple of months now. Each time they show a commercial for it they show Superman introducing himself to Lois Lane as "A friend." And each time I see that I think of when Angel and Buffy meet, and how Angel introduces himself as "A friend."

Given what a huge movie buff Joss Whedon seems to be and also what a comic geek he is, that had to have been deliberate, which, as a comic fan myself, I think is rather cool.
