This is why ShakenSilence is so wonderful to beta for. While I was betaing her story, I had an idea for a writing exercise and used one of here scenes to work it out. So when I sent the betaed story back, I sent the results of the writing exercise back with it. Instead of feeling that I'm all arrogant or condescending for rewriting one of her scenes, she sends me a virtual gift and tells me I'm a great beta. She is so sweet to put up with me.
