this is why I want to get a bat house. they are super good at eating mosquitoes.

also there are some farmers using african guinea fowl as natural tick control (and for eggs/meat/etc).

the whole spraying for tick/mosquito control bugs the crap out of me. the people who used to live where we did sprayed, and when we moved in there were zero insects. total. including earthworms. i mean, the soil was also crap, but who does not have earthworms? also pollinators. so yeah. spraying = kill all the good bugs too.
