I know this is petty of me, given the tragedy, but after they caught the guy in Boston, did NBC really need to show three more hours of real-time covereage? Honestly, I did not need to miss Grimm just to hear how terrible it was that the Bruins and Sox games were cancelled?

As always the media did everything they could to squeeze out as much money/fame they could.

I find this whole 24/7/365 news coverage stupid.

Trust me. If something really really interesting happens then it'll still have happened when the normal news program is on 2 or 3 times a day.
