Confession

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy came out, I think, in the 80's. I've always had friends who think the book is amazing, deep and meaningful even. I've never gotten it. At best I think it's a very silly book.

If anyone wants to share why they think the book is amazing – or if there is actually anyone out there who agrees with me – I'd love to hear it.

I have very special, personal memories associated with the book. I won't ever read it again because I don't want to shatter them, but it is part of a very special time in my life and for that it will always be dear to me.

I've never actually read any of the books; i know Hitch-hikers through the radio series, and the TV version of that.

The US movie was a major disappointment.

I did vote for Marvin the Paranoid Android for Galactic President :-)
