I went to my first NaNo write in, and one of the women talked so much that I got less than 200 words written. It was fun and interesting, but totally not what I had expected. I'll go back next week, but only if I've already gotten my word count in.

Edited: 1548 words written today. I've been aiming for 2000 words a day so I can be finished before Thanksgiving. Since I was a bit over from previous days, I'm only 379 words short of the 8000 I'd hoped to have done today. *whew* I can make that up tomorrow.

Yeah, I really didn't expect that. I did enjoy it but I really love getting my word count in. It's so exciting. I'm only going to make about half the count today. ;-(

It was nice to have someone to chat with. I can get a bit too caught up in my own world and am not great at conversation so I rather like chatty people.

Thanks, I'm hoping I can keep to my target. It's remarkably thrilling each day when I've made my word count. ;-)
