I went to my first NaNo write in, and one of the women talked so much that I got less than 200 words written. It was fun and interesting, but totally not what I had expected. I'll go back next week, but only if I've already gotten my word count in.
Edited: 1548 words written today. I've been aiming for 2000 words a day so I can be finished before Thanksgiving. Since I was a bit over from previous days, I'm only 379 words short of the 8000 I'd hoped to have done today. *whew* I can make that up tomorrow.
