I've really never read any Giles/Ethan, although it's a pairing that makes sense to me (especially pre-series). But after reading Ethan Rayne versus America (and loving it) I'd planned to read The Morning of the Magicians. Somehow, I didn't get around to it, and then saw it recced in Buffyverse Top 5, but I was occupied with a lot of other reading based on recs there. Then I saw it recced again here.

Well, I started it, and I'm totally hooked! So thanks for the rec, and I'm excited about reading some of these others.

There were so many recs coming at us so fast that it was hard to keep track of them all. I did get In the Morning of the Magicians from the BtVS Top 5. I may have read it in one fell swoop when I was having trouble sleeping (or that was some other story. Hard to recall now.)

But yes, I am very amazed at how awesome it is.
