Why do I torture myself so?

Spoilers for BtVS comics, but the library is pretty far behind the curve so if you're following the comics at all you already know anything I'm about to mention.

So Season 9 of Spike and S9, Volume 4 of Buffy came into the library.
Spike: I'd forgotten about the spaceship run by bugs. Honestly, why is that stupidity continuing? I couldn't even bring myself to read it, which after reading Buffy I'm starting to think was a good thing.
Buffy: Really? The tank girl evil Slayer is turning other Slayers into super-powered zompires? Really? Why I didn't stop reading there, I don't know. Even more with the "Really?". Xander is on the side of the evil tank girl Slayer. No. Just no.

I read s.8 . What a waste of time and money. I've heard people say that s.9 is better. That doesnt sound better. Buffy ended with the destruction of Sunnydale.

I was going to say that S8 was so ridiculously silly that S9 does fare well in comparison, but then I remembered that Andrew moves Buffy's consciousness into the Buffy-bot without telling her. So, no, not all that much better.

I am however enjoying the Angel & Faith comics, as far as the library has of them so far.
