And so there's this article, talking about the First Evil. Yeah. I never did buy that idea that the very first thing ever was EVIL! And they do make a good point about religions requiring balance between good and evil so why isn't there then a First Good? Actually, The First Evil reminds me of the devil guy from Time Bandits.

One of the comments talks about Joss' verse being more Cthulu-ish. There is a dark force at the heart of everything and if it notices you, you won't survive. Um, yes and no. Everybody's power, even the Slayer's, seems to come from evil but there is a lot of good winning the battle going on.

There's this whole sub-thread about the Slayer power coming from a source of good, which makes me ask: were we watching the same show? I thought everyone knew the Slayer's power came from demons.
