In case it seems like I'm around less: Computer so slow I can barely use it. I'm getting online at the library for now so my access is limited.

Have you tried downloading Ccleaner and running it?
Usually when a computer runs slower it's because it is being bogged down by problems in the register or a giant amount of unnecessary files building up on the hard drive.

The program is free and I use it all the time and it keeps my laptop running as new even two years after I've bought it.

What antivirus program are you using? If it's AVG it might be slower your computer down a lot.

One of mine has CCleaner. I ran it last night. No help there. The other is so bad I can't download but it's still under warranty I believe so I'll be contacting Dell after I get back from vacation.
