Thanks. At this point it can't even run Windows. I'm going to have to help Dell support and hope they don't think it's a Microsoft issue. *sigh*

Worst case scenario I take it to the local computer repair shop. That will get it working again and at least speed it up temporarily. I may have to go back to doing all my Internet through the library, which is annoying but on the other hand there's a lot less to distract me at home what that's the case.
