Ex-Bringer kitty

Lisette's cat was found as a kitten in a tree in the middle of a parking lot. The kitten was born with no eyes. To prevent infection, the vet sewed the eyes shut, which means, yes, she looked like a little Bringer kitten. The stitches have since been removed so no Bringer cat look anymore. Still, she is a very sweet kitty.

AWWWWWW!

As the former owner of a pet with a challenge (my late dog Gracie had epilepsy), I heartily endorse bringing a "not perfect" pet into your life... they're more perfect than you realize.

I'm not sure I've ever had a not-perfect pet. My last two had been strays, mother and daughter, Spirit and Soul. Soul took a long time to warm up to strangers although when my friends brought her and her mother to me - 5 hour trip for the poor kitties - she took to me fairly quickly.

I remember playing with Lisette's cat when he was a kitten. She kept him inside and he had the apartment memorized. He was very affectionate and, based on the picture, is still quite loving.

She actually gets around quite well without vision. Granted she's kept inside, but so are a lot of cats.
