Smoking pot as a way to lose belly fat? I'd have thought, given the munchies and all, that it'd have the opposite effect.

The article does list other ways to lose belly fat, you know, if you need to. I could certainly lose some (or, really, a lot).

I had a security clearance for a while so it's been a good 15 to 20 years since I've gotten stoned. But I did find that research funny since it's so counter-intuitive.
