Solstice Magic

The Innter Alchemy Center has a neat article on the winter Solstice, "a point of absolute stillness, receptivity, and movement inward." Of course today I'll be seeing two movies: The Hobbit with Leslie, and Shaun of the Dead as my traditional winter solstice ritual. The second year makes it a tradition, right? Also grocery shopping, cooking, hopefully time to get some writing in.

Thanks. I thought the Hobbit was a bit fighting heavy although I guess that Five Armies subtitle should have given that way.

Shaun of the Dead was excellent. My roomie sat it out though. Perhaps she doesn't do zombie movies. She did see her first Godzilla movie recently when I got a free DVD rental from Red Box. I'm not sure how she's avoided them all this time.

Actually I'm drinking tea at home. Didn't make it to a pub at all. ;-)

I totally love Sean of the Dead! Hobbit's not bad either.

I thought the final Hobbit movie was okay. It was more my roomie's idea than mine. I prefer somewhat less fighting.

It is a great movie. I think beer good foamy introduced me to it with his Shaun icon. ;-)
