Just when I thought it was safe to jump back into the water ...

So I'd been reading my way through this: The Top 10 Buffy the Vampire Slayer Femslash Fics. Some brilliant stories in the list although I got a bit burnt out towards the end. And now, great, I'm back down to one story I'm catching up on when The Apprentice Bard posts four epic (read: long) Buffy fanfic recs. I'm looking forward to them but at the same time I sort of wanted a break from reading at the computer screen.

Oh, yes, both rec lists are great.
And... Whaaaat, you are actually reading all that from the computer screen? My head hurts when I'm just start thinking about that... *hugs her kindle*

I'm with RB -- I think you should get yourself an e-reader pronto! I bought one several years ago now, just to read fanfic, and I'm still so very glad I did!

Really? 'Cause I was thinking it wouldn't be worth it just for reading fanfic. I still prefer reading books when I can.

Well, I guess it depends on how many long fanfics you tend to read. If the answer is "a lot" then I say yes, definitely worth it. (If you mostly read short fics, maybe not.)
