dragonyphoenix: Blackadder looking at scraps of paper, saying "It could use a beta" (Blackadder)

still wigging *sigh*

Sorry to keep bringing this up but I'm still wigging. I'm going to call Megan's new online id Lenore 2.0 because if she's trying to build up an online presence where people won't castigate her for what went down when she was picamix, I don't want to mess with that.

So I confronted Lenore 2.0 and said I thought she was Megan and that when she said something that I knew wasn't true about Megan it felt like Megan was lying to me. I also used the phrase “Munchhausen by Internet”. I think Megan never knew that I didn't believe her. I mean, I did believe her at first and was public about supporting her, but later I went through her back posts and decided there was too much that needed explaining. (For example, the real Lenore was out of town for those whole three weeks that the fake Lenore had taken over Megan's account.) But I never publicly said that I didn't believe her. There were people still supporting her and I didn't want to prejudice anyone.

So I'm feeling bad that I upset Megan by letting her know I don't believe her.

I don't think you have anything about which to feel badly. I think if she's going to get through her personal problems, she needs to face what she did and the impact it had. Letting her know she's not getting away with it is an important step for her to let go of her charades and begin to get better.

You have done NOTHING wrong.

That's an excellent point. Thank you.

What you said. I stayed out of most of it, but I saw the sheer devastation it caused. If it is Megan she needs to own what she has done or she will never be able to move on from it. You really, truly have done nothing wrong.

the sheer devastation it caused. Which is why I didn't say anything when I decided it wasn't a hacker taking over her life. People were upset enough.

You really, truly have done nothing wrong. Thank you. I think I needed some people to tell me that.
