I just rewatched Alien a week or two back. I fast-forwarded toward the end because, even though it's an excellent movie, it's too creepy for me.

My first experience with Alien was as a kid when it was on tv. I had changed channels and found myself right in the middle of the popping out the guy's stomach scene.

My second experience was through the Spaceballs spoof scene.

Needless to say, I preferred the Spaceballs version ;)

I don't recall this but my sister swears I made her watch scary movies with me when we were kids because I was too afraid to watch them by myself.

I agreed to go through a haunted house with a cousin of mine once. Never again -- the woman nearly tore my arm off ^_^;;!

My sister, my cousin Laura, and Laura's friend were all together in a haunted house and holding hands. Something scared them and they started running. When the friend looked over, it wasn't Laura's hand she was holding anymore. In the confusion, she'd dropped Laura's hands and one of the workers at the haunted house, in scary costume naturally, had grabbed it.
