katiegrrl1016 over on tumblr is looking for an example of an AU/All-Human Spuffy fic that was turned into general romance novel for her graduate thesis. Being more of a Spander and Giles/Ethan fan, I don't have any recs but I thought I'd boost the signal.

I'd love to help but Tumblr confuses me beyond reason. Where on that page is a respond???

Kallysten published "Baby Steps" as......."Baby Steps". Don't think it counts as Joseph is still a vampire and Alexandra a 'special enforcer'. Otherwise is close to verbatim.

Thanks. I sent it to her as a message. I don't completely get Tumblr either. If I'd had anything, I would have just posted it as part of my reblog.

All the ones I'm aware of have been mentioned on Tumblr. Nice of you to signal-boost.

Terry Meeker (Puddinhead) published "Not Quite Darcy", which was a Spuffy fic...I have no idea how to go about passing this knowledge to Tumblr, tho'...that place confuses me!

Thanks. I've asked her to check this post for responses.

I think [livejournal.com profile] eurydice72 published one or more of her Spuffy fics as original fics. Your friend would have to check with her about which ones, though.

Thanks.

Oh my goodness thank you all so much! I swear I love fandom so much... so much that it's got me back on Livejournal after not being on here for about 5 years, lol.

As for the Eurydice ([livejournal.com profile] eurydice72) story, I'm actually already using "Rhapsody in Oil" and Two Lives In Waltz Time in my thesis. In fact, I was looking for an AU or All Human example of adaptation to contrast this in-universe example. If anyone is curious, I'm also using [livejournal.com profile] knifeedgefic's "West of the Moon, East of the Sun," but to talk about all the references/multiple kinds of canon used/altered in it.
