Exterminate!
I'm watching Dr. Who: the 7th series. It's not terrible. I actually liked the trip to Narnia. I even enjoyed the Dalek episode even if I don't know when they started having human minions. But they've pretty much always been an enigma. When we first met them, they'd lived in a toxic wasteland for so long they couldn't survive anywhere that wasn't radioactive, and now look at them, wandering all about the universe, not at all concerned about the non-radioactiveness of it all.

Bit off topic there. While there are episodes I do find annoying, there are also episodes I think are great. Weeping Angels for example. Awesome.

Snowpocalypse sounds fun.

I was reading a friend's meme response and she spoiled the end of season 1 of How to Get Away With Murder. It was a shocking surprise too because How to Get Away is full of unexpected twists. But it didn't bother me. I guess watching is more about the experience of watching than the goal of what's going to happen.
Agent Carter is an appropriate icon for basically everything
Someone on Captain Awkward said a thing about if they had a TARDIS they would go through time rescuing women who were about to get in a relationship with terrible assholes. "Don't date that abuser, come with meeee! See the universe!" I want to write this fic eventually, with the added thing that River Song "borrowed" the TARDIS to do so.
ALSO I don't know if you watch Jane the Virgin (you should if you do not! It's great! Though I am behind because Netflix is behind :( but anyway). The actor who plays the main character just got the best haircut and omg I ship her with Petra SO MUCH for good reason which...is probably never actually going to be canon but let me have my headcanon okay.
Re: Agent Carter is an appropriate icon for basically everything
I have seen Jane the Virgin. I liked it at first but I got bored with it. I think I can watch only so much silliness! The heir cut is excellent!
Re: Agent Carter is an appropriate icon for basically everything
I watch Jane the Virgin in chunks kind of? But also when I have brain fog silliness is exactly what I need.
Amazing shit like this, for example:
Photoshop Jane's dad did of him with "Jane as a baby" except he used adult Jane's head in the photoshop so now it's just weird
Re: Agent Carter is an appropriate icon for basically everything
but since we're doing images etc can I just confess that also the actor who plays Amelia Pond is kiiiiind of amazing. Also the one who plays Martha Jones. Also River Song. I maaaay have kind of a Thing for certain companions/people.
I also have a fic idea where the Doctor has a companion who is a lesbian and her girlfriend thinks she's having an affair but actually she just Went To See The Universe with this Alien. So when they meet the girlfriend is all "I don't know about you, dude" and the Doctor is trying to remember what it's like to be around women who are totally 100% Not Attracted to Him. And then maybe one of them accidentally introduces the Doctor to a gay friend who is TOTALLY INTO THE DOCTOR. And maybe the Doctor realizes that it is not human women he's into, but *men* and then is like "wait I was trying to follow some prime directive thing with humans and relationships and waaat" and his companions are like "Dude are you homophobic?" and he's like "No but I didn't realize I was a little bit species-ist?"
I miiiight have put a lot of thought into this plotbunny.

Barbara in high priest regalia on a temple in front of a possible human sacrifice
along with this bit from the description on Wikipedia:
With the TARDIS trapped in a tomb, Barbara is mistaken for a female reincarnation of the ancient high priest Yetaxa, and assumes her guise and identity. From her new position of power, Barbara sees her chance to bring an end to human sacrifice. She sees the good side of Aztec culture manifested in Autloc, the High Priest of Knowledge, and the gruesome side embodied in 'the local butcher', the High Priest of Sacrifice, Tlotoxl. As something of an expert on this period, she sees how advanced their culture really is and believes that if sacrifice were abolished, they would be spared destruction at the hands of the Spanish. The Doctor's urgent warnings that Barbara cannot change history fall on deaf ears, much to his fury.
(That and the white people playing alleged Aztecs had just terrible accents. Like, I get that it had a limited budget and also 1960s, but omg it was painful to watch.)

I'm not following. Why would the Doctor not realize he's been attracted to men all this time?
