tried calling Dad just now

I just tried calling my Dad. He picked up and said “Yeah.” I replied “Hi Dad.” I could hear the tv from his end but he didn’t say anything so I asked “Are you there?” After a bit more tv from his end but no talking, the connection ended. I tried calling him back right away but he didn’t pick up.

I don’t know why he doesn’t want to speak with me. I had no idea I’d upset him.

If this is how he acts when you upset him, without a word of warning, then I wouldn't beat myself up over it.

It may not be that I upset him. Aunt Bonnie says he's upset because he needs a walker now. Alternately, I called on my computer. If my microphone didn't kick in, he would have thought it was a crank call and that's exactly how he'd react.

My first thought is that he was upset with me. Being upset about that, I posted right way.
