mean and rude Guest user

So a Guest user had been leaving me rude and mean comments on ff.net. Only two so far and they were fairly well spaced out, but this person is really angry, presumably at me but I guess it could be the world in general. For all I know he/she is leaving mean and rude Guest comments all over the place. Anyway, I have no idea what I could have done to seriously piss off anyone.

I've recently finished the next chapter of a story I've been working on. At ff.net I post scene by scene so I've got about 30 posts to make there. I was planning to post a scene day but I've figured that if my mere existence is driving this person up the wall to the extent they have to go all troll posts on me, I may as well start posting every hour. I mean, if they're going to be upset anyway, I'll work on giving them something to be upset about.

We'll see how it goes.

Sorry you are dealing with this. I hope the troll finds a better activity to occupy their time.

I don't think I've ever gotten a truly hateful comment or dealt with a true troll but I stopped posting a ff.net years ago because I couldn't take the comments that I'd randomly get. The one that broke me was someone commenting that my story was good but the female character should have ended up with the other guy character. And it took everything in me to not respond with "If you're not a fan of the pairing the story is clearly labeled with, why are you reading this one?"

ANd yay for finishing the next chapter of your story.

There were two comments today. I only read one. It said something like "spare us the love for the donut boy." This person is obviously just wanting to be mean, hence my not reading the other comment that was from a Guest user.

Sorry you're dealing with this. I honestly don't understand people who keep reading fic that they dislike and repeatedly express their displeasure. Like even if you had absolutely nothing else to do, there is way more fic to read than can reasonably be consumed by one human. Go find another one that may be more to your liking, people!

It's really odd. It honestly feels like they just want to upset me. I have no idea why. Happily it hasn't happened since, but they can go a long time between posts so I figure they'll be back.
