My roommate threw up many times last night, and today we know that nausea and vomiting are symptoms of COVID.

Yuk. I hope very much that they're better soon, and that you don't get ill.

Thanks. She was better by the next day. We're not sure what it was but I wasn't saying she had COVID even though that's how my post reads. She was throwing up and so did a symptoms check and learned taht vomiting is a symptom of COVID. Apparently I should have explained it better.

Someone on my reading list definitely got covid a couple of weeks ago, and had mostly digestive symptoms to start with.

And I have to apologize for the misleading post. I didn't mean to suggest that she had COVID. She got sick, looked up symptoms, and learned they could be COVID symptoms.

I didn't mean to suggest she had COVID. She always looks up symptoms when she gets sick and learned that gastrointestinal issues can be a sign of COVID.

Oops. Sorry about misreading it. Glad that it wasn't anything more serious than a regular sickness. Which sounds terrible to say, but is genuinely felt.
