Snowflake Challenge: Set Goals
Get a job. I'm ambivalent about this one. I need money but the last time I worked as a programmer, I was clinically depressed. It's difficult going back to that and I'm already feeling stressed over it.

However, a new job relates to my second goal which is moving back to Long Island. My Dad's in his early 80s and is having trouble taking care of himself. I suspect early signs of dementia. He needs someone nearby and that gets to be me.
Write one original story per month. I'd make it more often but I find it much easier to write fanfic. Also stress related to my first two goals make it harder for me to make time to write. ;-(

Good luck on the writing front. If you need an accountability buddy in that, let me know. I need to do this too. ❤

I'm participating in Get Your Words Out at the write 180 days habit level so one of my intentions for this month is to write at least 15 times. The other is to write and complete-ish an original short story.

My intentions for this month is write my Chocolate box fic, and participate in a Veronica Mars fic reading/writing draft day thingy that is going to be fun and time consuming... oh yeah, and I have Snowflake mod things too. So yeah. I'm committed (or will need to be committed) by the end of the month. I might need to be pinged for a check in half way through the month as everything is a bit of a blur right now. ;)
WE CAN DO THIS!!

I've written 9 days so far this month, well withing my goal of 15 days per month. And I've worked on an original short story more than I would have if we weren't doing this. So, yay! It's working.
Did I tell you I love your icon? I love your icon.

I have started my ChocolateBox fic (I actually have TOO MANY IDEAS!) Which hasn't happened to me in a long time! I'm also relatively up to date(ish) on Snowflake.
Haha! This icon just sums up my life in general. ❤❤

The icon also sums up my life except I'm job hunting which is frustrating when I hate how much of my time work takes. ;-(

Instead of writing 15 days this month, I've currently written 20 and hope to get one more in tomorrow. I have to say the 15 days / month goal was very inspiring. Once I hit it I was quite motivated to write every day for the rest of the month.

I didn't finish my Chocolate Box yet (but I still got tomorrow so 🤞🤞). I did read some stories for the VM thing so that's yay, and Snowflake went awesome so that's also a yay!
See you in a few days for Feb's Intentions. ❤❤

My writing/reading intentions this month is to write and read for at least an hour a day. No matter if that's fic or original, writing or editing. And reading will more than likely be fic as Chocolate Box happens this month as does the VM fic thingy.
See you in a couple of weeks. GOOD LUCK!!

This month, again 15 days. I'm pursuing a longer story idea that I might go with for NaNo and am taking the start of it and trying to work it as a short.

I want to continue to read at least a little bit everyday and do some research for a story idea that bit last week. I'll also toy with getting the story started in the meantime.
This is really cool that we've kept this going past January! WE ROCK! ♥ ♥

Yay us! We do rock.

This month keep up the 15 days / month goal and also do another five writing exercises.

I've been way more productive in all things creative than I have been in a very long time. *\o/* I haven't been putting any demands or limits on what it is I create, for fear it will freeze me but I think it's time that I ask myself to dig deep and start working on some original fiction again.
So that will be my goal for May. Have something original written. Whether that just be an outline or notes for the story I've been playing with in my head for a while now, or something all together different. Just SOMETHING. 🤞🤞

Writing in June was like pulling teeth. Job hunting had me down and made me unmotivated. This month I was inspired by another fanfic to start a new story and got 22 days of writing in. I'm 74% of the way to my goal which seems. So. Slow! 120 days was such an easier goal to reach!
I'm nearly finished with my first draft for the new story. I plan to put it on hold next month and focus on plot generation and character development. Maybe work on some older stories I've put aside.
