even the most innocuous statement I make tends to end with me being rounded on by all and sundry. I do have some thinky thoughts but... No, I'm really not up to facing the inevitable:

That really is a shame because I KNOW you would have some fascinating things to say! (And I'm sorry you've been treated badly. Unfortunately I've been there but I suspect everyone in fandom has, and I've hardly had it as bad as many other people.)

I hate to admit that I'm far more circumspect about conversations here than I'd ideally like to be. I don't have the energy (or ego-strength) to get into fights. Not worth it.
