Snowflake Challenge 8

Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

One:
Excerpts from A.Z. Fell and Co.’s Yelp Page by itsclydebitches: Good Omens fan? Check out the Yelp page for Aziraphale's bookstore. It's quirky. It's fun. I highly reccommend it. Oh, and there's also a part 2.
Excerpt:
I walked in. There was a man screaming at a fern while another threatened him with an umbrella. I walked out.

5 stars do recommend.

Two:
Legacy by DesireeArmfeldt (Slings and Arrows): I like how Geoffrey and Jack stay in each other's lives and expand each other's horizons both personally and professionally. Sweet story.

Three:
How I Survived My Summer Vacation, by Tamkia Flynn, Age 12 3/4 by thingswithwings (Welcome to Night Vale): a look at how friendships for in Night Vale (under strange and terrifying circumstances).

Four:
Star Trek Continues: The original series was a 5 year mission. They shot four (if you discount the animated series). Star Trek Continues shows us what a fifth year might have looked like. While maintaining the core crew, it also introduces some new characters. Quite true to the original series. Also I adore that they go back to the Mirror 'Verse.

Five
Death Comes for the Microbot by Aimee Picchi: This short story is not a fanwork but I'm reccing it anyway because I've just read it for the nth time and damn if it didn't bring tears to my eyes ... again.

Six:
freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose by synecdochic
(Stargate Atlantis): Rodney carries on after he's back on Earth.

spikedluv: (summer: sunflowers by candi)

I had read the first part of that Good Omens pic fic (hilarious!), but I hadn't seen the second, so thanks for that! Also, apparently hadn't reblogged, so fixed that, too.

Staying the heck away from 6 because I've already cried my eyes out over that thing once and I refuse to do it again. *g*

I swung by to see which Slings & Arrows story you recced -- one I don't remember reading, so that's a win!

In the interest of spreading the joy, [archiveofourown.org profile] synecdochic is the name of the author of Freedom's Just Another Word, and she's written a bunch of other stuff too. Incidentally, she founded this great blogging platform where we're typing at each other.
