Thank you. Based on the series, demons tend to see human emotions, such as love and affection, as weaknesses. Think of the big, blue smurf demon (the Judge?) insulting Spike and Dru by telling them their share human emotions for each other. So it seems likely that Dru would see attachment as a weakness although, interestingly to me at least, that's the opposite of a main theme of the series. Buffy is successful and survives as a Slayer because of her attachments.
