I have given some thoughts to the sequel. If I write it and don't change how it goes, Willow, William, and Angel will be protecting a Hellmouth.
Willow and William will either adopt or figure out how to have kids and one will be named for Buffy, which will give Angel some trouble. He won't be able to call the girl Buffy and will always use her middle name (Anne) instead. And I have an ending for it; the rest is up in the air.
As to reincarnation... *shrugs* I have no opinion on what happens after life. It worked well with what I wanted to do with the story.
