I'm glad you enjoyed the story. It's based on someone I used to know who ate chocolate covered ants. He was perfectly happy to eat them until somebody told him what he was eating. ;-)
I've eaten chocolate covered cicadas, which I'd forgotten about until just now. And they did taste good.
