In which I seem to have way too much time on my hands...

I decided to pick my favorites of all the stories I've written. It's been an interesting exercise. I've noticed that some of my more interesting stories were written for Taming the Muse prompts. I'd stopped writing there a while back when I got sick, but I think it's time to pick it up again.

I've also gone through my LiveJournal postings to find my most popular postings, based on reader responses. I was too lazy to do that on fanfiction.net as well, but I can tell you my most popular story over there without looking, Supervillian Snape, a Harry Potter and Batman crossover.

My favorites (mostly BtVS so I only indicate when it's not):

• Blessed Are Those Who Mourn - a Leverage fanfic.
   
• And Now the Legacy Begins - the first story in a series of Buffy fanfics where Wesley is Faith's Watcher
   
• Their Fourth Attempt at a First Date - a Firefly fanfic. Simon and Kaylee keep trying to go out on dates, but it just doesn't go well. Here's one time it worked out fine.
   
• a scene from Amnesia!Spike - I added a scene to Mahaliem's awesome Amnesia!Spike story
   
• Connection -  Lit Gal wrote a fine series (when does she ever write things that aren't awesome?) called Kin of the Heart, but paused it at some point. DharmaSlut, trying to get her to pick it back up, wrote some very fine drabbles set in that universe, which are linked in Connection. These continue where DharmaSlut left off, and is my timing perfect or what since Lit Gal has just picked Kin of the Heart back up.
   
• One Old Tux - as if there wasn't going to be Spander on this list!
   
• As Black as Sin, Part One and Part 2 - more Spander; smooshy with a bit of S&M
   
• In the Shadow Cast as You Were Leaving - Spike misses Dru.
   
• Tea Time - Dru has a guest over for tea. Being Dru, it's rather creepy.
   
• Tongue Twisted - a lighthearted bit of Spander fluff
   
• And the Band Played On - Ethan and Ripper meeting just after Band Candy.
   
• Circling the Wagons Round - Firefly pre-series. Mal and Zoe at the battle of Serenity Hill
   
• Missed You - more Spander. Even though it's not well written, I love it enough that I had to include it on this list (which is why there are more than ten entries!)
