Why did Joss use the name Adam?
Dec. 2nd, 2012 01:59 pmI'm reading Frankenstein for class and came across this quote: “I ought to be thy Adam". I had always thought Joss was referring back to the first man in the Garden of Eden story, but given that Adam is very reminiscent of Frankenstein's Creature, I'm thinking the name may have come from the novel, which of course does refer back to the Christian myth so both sources isn't out of the question.
